Senior People Business Partner - Gatwick/Heathrow/Manston - Full time

We are looking for a Senior People Business Partner for our Care & Custody team, this role will report to the People Director and is a key member of the Leadership Team.

This is a fast paced and varied role where you will be working in partnership with the Care & Custody Senior Leadership Team, Centres of Excellence, the OneHR team and other key stakeholders to deliver commercial value, create and delivering people strategies and plans which underpin the Mitie and Divisional Objectives, Goals, Strategies and Plans and build a culture of engagement, supported by the Mitie values.

Leading a team of People Business Partners you will be coaching, mentoring and challenging to embed a high performing culture in line with our Values, you will be proactive in managing and influencing key partners, stakeholders and customers and contributing to continuous improvement across the sector.

Commercially driven with a strategic approach you will have the ability to determine priorities to deliver business objectives.

Within this role, you will also Facilitate and deliver key strategic projects across the sector, ensuring they are effectively prioritised, resourced and delivered to support and enable the business strategy. These will include initiatives related to:

- Reward & Recognition
- Talent & Succession Planning
- Management Development & Apprenticeships
- Performance Management
- Resourcing
- Employee Engagement
- Equality, Diversity & Inclusion

A commercial and pragmatic approach to HR delivery coupled with strong analytical skills will be key as well as experience of supporting business growth including people solutions to bids.
- CIPD qualified (level 7) desirable
- Previous experience in the government outsourcing and / or immigration & custodial environments would be advantageous
- Ability to travel to support geographically dispersed contracts
- Clean driving licence
