Clarum Recruitment Group is partnering with a PE backed, highly acquisitive business who seek to recruit a Purchase Ledger Manager. It's an exciting time to be joining the team, as our client starts it's growth journey.

Reporting to the CFO, your role will have a broad remit. The Purchase Ledger Manager will take ownership of all purchase ledger activities, bank reconciliations and weekly payment runs for the month end close of the Group's businesses.

This role will oversee a small team and your responsibilities will include:

- Purchase ledger - ensuring accurate posting of all invoices that come into head office mail box and on a daily basis we should seek approval from the relevant branch manager using company policies and post to the correct nominal code and departments.
- Expenses - process expense reports from members of staff and Barclaycard statements into Sage and seek relevant receipts. Adhering to expense policy guidelines.
- Payment run - prepare payment runs for suppliers and contractors on a weekly basis.
- Bank Reconciliations for two bank accounts - to be completed daily and kept real time and close these off on working day one after month end.
- Update the cash reconciliation sheet to report our up-to-date position on cash.
- Monthly expenses upload onto the system.

**About You**

Our client seeks an experienced Purchase Ledger professional. Ideally you will have exposure to a multi-site service business with a centralised finance function. A strong technical accounting grounding with an appreciation of the need for intuitive butflexible systems and processes. You will demonstrate a "hands-on" approach to your work and comfortable with detail.
