Our Newark based client is seeking an **Compliance and Legal Administrator** to join their Legal (Compliance and Risk) team on a full time, permanent basis. This would be an excellent opportunity for somebody with 1 - 2 years’ experience within an administrative capacity looking to take the next step in their career.
**THE ROLE**
As a **Compliance and Legal Administrator** your duties will include, but are not limited to
- Keeping track of meetings, maintaining training plans and arranging compliance and legal training
- Maintaining a centralised report of all compliance reports received, along with a log of materials
- Assisting the European Risk Manager in the annual risk review
- Preparing monthly risk reporting spreadsheets
- Attending to general insurance queries and assisting with claims
- Making internal and external arrangements for surveys and insurance meetings
- Preparing correspondence, reports and presentations as required
- Arranging complex, worldwide travel and meeting arrangements for the team
- Generating purchase orders and processing invoices
- Completing travel and expense returns
- General Administrative duties
**THE CANDIDATE**
The ideal **Compliance and Legal Administrator** will possess the following qualities:
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office software (including Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritise tasks and work to strict deadlines
- Able to work on own initiative, as well as part of a team
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
You will have a minimum of 1-2 years’ experience within an administrative role. An understanding of compliance and risk processes and systems would be an advantage but is not essential.
