**Position Overview**:
Abiglobal Foods Ltd is seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team as a Sales Assistant. The Sales Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting our sales efforts by effectively communicating with customers, processing orders, generating invoices, and providing exceptional service to ensure customer satisfaction.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Order Processing**: Receive and process customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to customer specifications.
- **Invoicing**: Generate invoices for customer orders, ensuring accuracy in pricing, quantities, and payment terms.
- **Sales Support**: Assist the sales team in achieving sales targets by identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities, promoting new products, and following up on leads.
- **Inventory Management**: Monitor inventory levels and communicate with the warehouse team to ensure adequate stock availability for fulfilling customer orders.
- **Customer Relationship Management**: Build and maintain positive relationships with customers by providing personalized service, addressing concerns, and resolving issues promptly.
- **Documentation**: Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales transactions, and order statuses using CRM software or other designated systems.
- **Administrative Tasks**: Assist with various administrative duties as assigned, including filing paperwork, organizing documents, and preparing reports for management.
- **Team Collaboration**: Collaborate effectively with colleagues from different departments, including sales, marketing, and logistics, to streamline processes and enhance overall operational efficiency.
- **Adherence to Policies**: Adhere to company policies, procedures, and quality standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and uphold the company's reputation for excellence.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in a sales support or customer service role is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with customers and colleagues.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Knowledge of African food products and familiarity with the multicultural market in London and the UK is an asset.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules as required.
