**Business Development Executive, Sales Executive**

**Circa £25k base, OTE £40k, plus Car, Benefits**

The client provides high-spec and high-value capital equipment products and associated services to a range of B2B sectors and industries, including utilities, civil engineering, construction, mining, land and environment management. They have establishedan impressive footprint in the market, offering an innovative and highly competitive range of equipment, and they enjoy an exceptional reputation in the market for quality and service.

To support their growth and expansion they are seeking to recruit a Business Development Executive to the team.

The role will be engaged in identifying leads and opportunities in the UK through targeted market research and networking activities, events and expos, as well as following up on incoming leads and referrals. You will be making introductory contact withtargeted decision makers in both SME and corporate businesses, securing and attending meetings in order to understand customer requirements, advising and guiding on product selection and specifications, providing quotes and estimates, and supporting the winningof new business. Sales cycles vary from quick turnaround business to larger scale and longer term contracts, and the role will be guided and supported by senior management in progressing larger opportunities and in the successful management of a pipeline.

You will be degree educated, ideally within a business, engineering or related field, with a genuine interest and desire to develop a career in B2B sales and business development. Some existing commercial experience, possibly as part of a placement duringstudies, would be useful, but is not prerequisite. The client offers training and a supportive environment and culture, and it is important to be diligent and eager, with a self-starter attitude, a professional and confident communicator, with an ability tolearn quickly and understand the commercial impact of your activities. A full driving licence is required as the role will involve travel.
