**Job Title**: Accountancy Administrator

**Location**:Hove

**Salary**:£22k - £24k DOE

**Full Time**:Monday - Friday (36.25hrs per week)

Our client is a growing accountancy firm in Brighton & Hove and is highly respected within the business community. They offer a great environment to work in within a modern office and aim to provide a friendly personable approach to working.

Practice software packages used - IRIS.

**Essential Attributes**
- Need to be very comfortable with changing technology.
- Professional friendly manner at all times.
- Strong customer care skills internally and externally.
- Positive 'can do' attitude, with good initiative to support continuous improvement.
- Understanding of the value of the support given to team members working to chargeable time.
- Competent literacy & numeracy skills. Proficient with Office 365 and good typing skills.
- Quick to learn and implement new tasks.
- Attention to detail; right first time.
- Capable of using own initiative to enable working with mínimal supervision after initial training.
- Ability to prioritise and work calmly under pressure to manage efficiently a busy workload.
- Multi-tasking essential.
- Self-motivated, reliable & good team player.
- Flexible to support the needs of the business.
- Minimum 5 GCSES A-C grade, including Maths and English.

Experience of the following would be an advantage:

- Database management
- Uploading
- Corporation Tax Reminders
- Fee protection
- Mailshots
- ITR checklists
- Confirmation statements
- Confident to provide phone cover in peak times / absence
