About The Role**The Adrian Layton Apprenticeship**

We have a fantastic opportunity to bring in a Level 3 Business Administrator Apprentice. You will be working as part of our Logistics Team; you will learn critical business skills which will expand your skill set whilst being based in a key area of the company. This will provide you with first - hand experience to allow you to build your skills and knowledge to a successful career.
As an Asset Coordinator at Magdalene, you live and breathe all things Asset Management, starting with organisation and attention to detail. You are not only organised - you are not afraid to let others know that they must follow processes and guidelines, while also educating on why this is important. As an Asset Coordinator, you play a key role in our logistics and engineering departments by ensuring all of our assets are logged with their movements tracked and that our tooling and PPE assets meet safety regulations in terms of their inspection and testing regime.
**Who are Magdalene?**
Magdalene operates as a Telecommunication Infrastructure Services Company and is part of the Telecom Division of M Group Services. Covering the full network lifecycle, we deliver Managed Services and Projects for both fixed and mobile infrastructure networks across the operator and utility markets.
**Why does this Apprenticeship have this name?**
Adrian Layton was a team member in the Logistics’ department for may years, sadly he passed away last year. We at Magdalene wanted to create an opportunity for someone to join the logistics’ team as an apprentice, and to honour his memory by naming it after him. Adrian was a caring, fun and conscientious gentlemen with an amazingly positive work ethic. We are looking to recruit someone into the team who aspires to be the person who holds the same values as him, and works hard to be part of the team in a proactive and upbeat way.
**What will my key responsibilities be?**
- Support in developing and maintaining Magdalene’s internal asset management database
- Prepare regular reports and presentations on Magdalene’s assets
- Handle asset queries from managers and employees
- Handle asset ownership moves and changes
- Schedule asset testing and calibration activities
- Update and develop asset management policies and ensure compliance with them
**What are we looking for?**
- Highly computer literate - You confidently use packages such as MS Excel, Word and Outlook
- Strong attention to detail and comfortable working with data and databases
- Collaborative - Used to working with colleagues and teams to achieve an outcome
- Communication - Great communication and interpersonal skills
