Interally known as People & Capability Adviser

Support the full employee lifecycle, promoting high levels of customer service to both internal and external customers. Work closely with people managers, providing expert support on a variety of People & Capability topics. Drive and deliver effective people procedures and policies that reflect business strategic objectives. Contribute to continuous improvement activities that progress the HR function that benefits the wider organisation.

Provide generalist HR support to the business including payroll delivery, assisting the Head of People & Capability to develop and deliver a seamless “HR User” experience. Build relationships with global People & Capability partners, leverage global resources and networks to improve the local market employee experience.

**Recruitment & Onboarding**
- Responsible for maintaining the ATS and other internal systems/trackers to keep key stakeholders updated on activities and progress
- Support hiring managers with new starter induction plans, coordinate with Global Talent Sourcing & Onboarding activities, and deliver “in market” People & H&S new starter inductions

**Payroll & Benefits**
- Oversee monthly payroll cycle for UK & Ireland including: collate and prepare monthly payroll to submit to external payroll provider for processing, review monthly payroll data, identify and address input/processing errors, process BACs transactions for approval
- Respond to employee payroll & benefits queries in a timely manner
- Manage day-to-day coordination of employee benefits, ensure accurate employee record keeping, coordinate benefit review cycles and update Sharepoint/intranet pages promoting self service
- Support the Head of People & Capability to deliver Annual Salary Review (ASR), coordinate ASR timetable with people managers, employee communications and systems up dates.

**Employee Lifecycle**
- Support employees with day-to-day general HR enquiries. Take a proactive approach to understanding the root cause of queries and develop initiatives to continuously improve HR support that minimises queries and promote self service technology solutions
- Coordinate adhoc employee changes including: contractual changes, the leaver process, benefits changes
- Assist people leaders with employee relations, oversee employee relations activities including: draft letters, manager guides, support investigations, assist formal disciplinary and capability hearings, coordinate notes and record keeping
- Assist the Head of People & Capability with complex employee relations cases and appeals
- Advise people leaders on best practice people procedures and practices that fit the context of the business and aligned to our global Purpose, Values and Strategy
- Support people leaders with talent, capability and development plans and activities that contribute to high performing teams
- Coordinate H&S activities, provide support and advice to people leaders on H&S practices, oversee corrective actions and reporting the H&S Committee

**Projects**
- Support the Head of People & Capability to develop project plans that deliver on P&C, H&S and wider business strategic commitments
- Coordinate project activities, liaise with relevant internal and external stakeholders to deliver projects in required timeframe, considering both local and global contexts in the project plans
- Proactively identify, support and contribute to improvement activities that increase employee engagement and experience in F&P and aligned to our global Purpose, Values and Strategy

**Compliance**
- Ensure all employee data is processed and managed within Workday, keep up to date records and files, ensuring high levels of accuracy and regular auditing of P&C data for legal compliance
- Provide regular P&C and H&S Management Information and insights for people leaders including: sickness absence management, leave entitlement, recruitment performance, diversity data, talent & capability metrics, monthly H&S market report
- Regularly review people policies and operating standards for effectiveness and compliance with relevant legal requirements
- Promote employee and manager self service functions within Workday and provide training and support to upskill users as required

**Health & Safety**
- Demonstrate positive and visible H&S leadership behaviour and leads by example; actively promotes a culture of health and safety within the team and wider business
- Take all practical steps to ensure own safety at work and ensure that actions or inactions don’t cause harm to any other person
- Follow all safety instructions, proactively reports hazards and incidents in the workplace, and collaborates with H&S Representatives to continuously improve and develop work safe solutions
- Take an active role in ensuring H&S requirements are implemented and followed across throughout the business
