Due to our rapid expansion over the last 3 years, we are looking for a Fostering Administrator to join our administration team at our head offices in Kent. We are looking for a highly skilled, passionate and committed administrator to support a small but experienced and committed team (in fact, we are widely regarded as the best in the business) based across the Kent and the south of England.

**About the role**:
This is a key role supporting our fostering team in Kent. The post holder will assist all members of the team with tasks including social work team administration, HR, health and safety, office management as well as welcoming visitors and hospitality. The role will contribute to the provision of quality services by providing exceptional administrative support in a professional and efficient manner to reflect the organisation’s reputation and will ensure the smooth running of the service administratively and as the ‘first point of contact’.

**Responsibilities**:
The role will be highly varied, with responsibilities spreading across a range of office functions, with key responsibilities including:

- General administrative support for the fostering service including:

- HR administration for new and existing staff, and consultants
- Administration for new and existing fostering families
- General support as required for the Registered Manager and social work team
- Assisting with Ofsted inspections and monitoring reports as and when they occur.
- General upkeep of the office building, predominantly communal and reception areas.
- Maintaining Health and Safety standards and reporting any breaches to the Registered or Deputy Manager immediately.
- Keeping an eye on the use of office consumables so that orders can be made in a timely manner.
- Booking meeting rooms for Managers and Supervising Social Workers as necessary and ensuring appropriate setup for each meeting i.e. refreshments, paperwork, laptop and HDMI cable etc.
- Meeting and greeting visitors, answering and directing calls.
- Assisting trainers in organising and preparing for their course, including photocopying and room setup.
- Taking minutes in meetings as required.
- Receiving and sorting mail and deliveries.
- Updating files and service related systems as required.
- Supporting events and activities.
- Any other administrative support that the team requires.

- Ability to prioritise workload and comfortable in giving realistic timescales to senior management.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to multi-task effectively, as the role will be supporting multiple individuals.
- Ability to work to deadlines and cope with changing work patterns.
- Excellent administrative skills to enable the most effective use of resources.
- Excellent written and verbal skills, and confident communication skills in order to deal effectively with Foster Parents and company contacts.
- Ability and willingness to identify, suggest and implement processes to improve the overall efficiency and running of the company.
- Fully ICT literate including working knowledge of Microsoft Office and other information storage systems.
