Following our rapid growth over the past three years, we are now seeking a Fostering Administrator to join our administrative team at our headquarters in Kent.
We are in search of a highly skilled, dedicated, and enthusiastic administrator to bolster our small yet proficient team (widely acknowledged as industry leaders) based in Kent and the south of England.
About the role:
This crucial position supports our fostering team in Kent.
The selected candidate will aid all team members with various tasks such as social work team coordination, HR duties, health and safety procedures, office management, as well as welcoming guests and managing hospitality.
The role contributes to delivering top-notch services by providing exceptional administrative support in a professional and efficient manner, maintaining the organization's reputation and ensuring the seamless operational flow of the service and acting as the 'first point of contact'.
Responsibilities:
The role entails diverse responsibilities spanning a range of office functions, including:
- General administrative support for the fostering service
- HR tasks for new and existing staff and consultants
- Administration duties for new and current fostering families
- Assistance for the Registered Manager and social work team
- Collaboration during Ofsted inspections and report monitoring
- Maintaining the office premises, particularly communal and reception zones
- Upholding Health and Safety standards and promptly reporting any breaches to management
- Monitoring office supply usage for timely reordering
- Arranging meeting rooms and ensuring necessary setups
- Welcoming visitors, managing calls, and directing inquiries
- Supporting trainers in course preparation and organization
- Recording meeting minutes as needed
- Managing mail and deliveries
- Updating files and service systems
- Assisting in events and activities
- Providing any other required administrative support
