Westray Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced **technical sales representative** to work in the Teesside area. The role centres on managing the day-to-day sales and account management activities in the lifting equipment sector.

This is a newly created sales role that will generate buying demand for the companies Hire & Sales division, whilst also promoting other services offered by the group.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING IN YOUR ROLE?
Your primary function will be to ‘hunt’ for new businesses, but also utilise our existing book of customers, turning idle customers into repeat buyers of new/additional products as needed, as well as promoting the other services we can offer

As well as ‘hunting’ for new businesses, you will be given an extensive book of past or previous customers of the company to work on. In that respect you will be working with very qualified leads who are already familiar with what we do, who we are, andare a perfect fit for the product suite we can offer them.

Tasks/Responsibilities:

- Become a product expert and be ready to start contacting new prospects two weeks from start date
- Quickly build interest and opportunities with new prospects
- Reactivate inactive/dormant customers
- Introduce new and existing customers to additional products/services at the appropriate times
- Introduce 2 SLA leads per week to the Service Division
- Meet weekly goals and established sales targets
- Utilize smart, targeted questions to speak knowledgeably with decision makers
- Hit sales targets and help our customers with our product offering

WHAT EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS ARE REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION?
**What You Need To Be Successful in this role**:

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong work ethic, initiative, positive attitude & high energy
- Willingness to think outside of the box & tackle complex problems
- Experience working with an online CRM a plus (Salesforce, Hubspot, Infusionsoft etc.)
- Experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator a plus
- Persistence to overcome obstacles and achieve quotas
- Strong leadership experience in school, work or any organization
- Target driven ? previous employment and success within a target driven company
- Accountability ? able to thrive on being held accountable for results and performance
