Purpose of the Role:
The Performance Marketing Executive, Ontario will report into the Digital Marketing Manager, Canada and help support and deliver digital acquisition campaigns across multiple channels including Display, PPC, and Paid Social.

You will be responsible for:

- Helping define and execute our digital marketing strategy to drive complementary growth and customer acquisition in Ontario while ensuring that the campaigns comply with local regulations.
- Working to plan and execute within key performance channels including app markets (mobile), display/programmatic, Paid Social, and SEM/PPC. There is scope to help manage and guide the organic digital strategy (SEO, organic social) as well as complementary channels like Affiliates.
- Developing our channel growth strategy and roadmap and subsequently build a strong set of capabilities that deliver upon the set strategic objectives and commercial targets set out by the business.
- Managing and driving ‘performance to budget’ by optimizing our investment based on performance & opportunities; utilise organisation’s databases and external data to aid decision making.
- Developing and maintaining marketing reporting to provide insight into effectiveness of digital marketing activities including performance tracking.
- Monitoring and analysing all relevant digital marketing KPIs and metrics, react quickly to under performance and adjust the course accordingly if need to be.
- Working closely with the Brand team and our media agency to input and help strategize and plan the digital portion of our brand campaigns.
- Aiding in the utilization of our web analytic tools and the reporting of the data to map, understand and optimize the sales funnel across all digital channels.
- If applicable, proactively seeking out attractive partnerships and marketing opportunities that will benefit the business.
- Managing negotiation with all partners to achieve volume quality and ROI goals.
- Managing always-on testing calendar across digital channels, focus on maximizing acquisition/conversion.
- Continuously reviewing changes to the market, consumer trends and the competitive landscape and provide guidance on re-evaluating the digital marketing plan if necessary.
- Working with the relevant stakeholders within creative to ensure that the right creative assets are briefed and delivered on time.
- Helping support the content team to execute our organic social media presence as needed.

You will have (Essential skills):

- Digital marketing experience.
- Proven track record in executing digital marketing campaigns across PPC/Paid Search, Paid Social, Display/Programmatic
- Experience using tools such as Tableau, Appsflyer, Google or Adobe Analytics (or similar).
- Demonstrate strategic thinking and planning ability, whilst being tactically responsive to changing needs.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to deliver and prioritise between tactical and strategic initiatives.
- Confident managing large marketing budgets and driving significant ROI growth.
- Proven experience within the Canadian digital media/advertising industry, motivation, and a desire to learn.
- Good understanding of the North American sports media landscape and a passion for sports.

It would be a bonus if you also had (Desirable skills):

- Agency side technical expertise in some or most of the following channels: PPC/Paid Search, Paid Social, Display/Programmatic. Bonus: Affiliates, Mobile Acquisition, and SEO.
- Previous app acquisition experience
- Excellent communication skills and confidence in presenting to and working with senior team members.
- Previous working experience in the sports and/or gambling/gaming industry is an asset
- Experience working with full funnel marketing strategies, including support for ATL and brand campaigns.
- Experience working with French-Canadian markets and bilingualism is an asset.
