The Band 4 Administrator position is available for a highly organised, motivated and enthusiastic person and is located at Fulbourn Hospital, Fulbourn, CB21 5EF within the Adult and Specialist Administration Hub.

The post holder will provide and coordinate a comprehensive supervision and administrative service within the Community Forensic Psychiatry Service and will take pride in supporting a team of professionals to make meaningful change for people.

We are looking for a proactive individual with excellent people and listening skills, good telephone skills and the ability to work under pressure. You will need to be able to deal with difficult situations, as well as the ability to liaise with patients and professionals.

- Supervise a team of administrative staff including undertaking appraisals, supervision, training and development and Band 3 and Band 2 staff
- Allocate and supervise administration tasks delegated to other members of the administration team
- Work with Line Manager to lead on the introduction and proactive management of any new processes and initiatives
- Word processing of all forms of correspondence, reports and summaries that are required by the team.
- Undertake diary management for clinicians and/or managers, as required.
- Organise clinics and associated appointments for clinics, using appropriate brought forward systems to manage work.
- Inputting and updating service user information and service user/team activity on computerised information systems, creating service user notes where necessary and according to policy.
