An exciting permanent opportunity has arisen to join the General Surgery service at St Peters Hospital. We are excited to be in a position to offer a permanent Band 4 post for a MDT / Clinical Office Co-Ordinator to join our outpatient team, the post will be 30 hours a week. The post includes general office duties, whilst closely working alongside our consultants and the rest of our team to provide excellent medical secretarial service to our patients.

The successful applicant will have the ability to work as part of the team in order to deliver high quality customer service, display excellent communication skills, and an understanding of delivering healthcare services. You will need to demonstrate commitment to care, quality and performance delivery. You must be a team player with the ability to problem solve and work independently. You will work closely with clinicians, specialist nurses, secretaries and all members of the Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) to ensure that patients are actively managed through the pathways.

An understanding of the 18 week patient pathway is preferable, although training will be given.

Computer skills are essential and training will be given on hospital administration systems.
