**About the role**
Balfour Beatty are currently recruiting for a **Asset Support Coordinator **to join our Power Transmission & Distribution team in **Derby.**

**Role purpose**:
Provide operational assistance to the Asset Support Team covering PPE & Fall Arrest Equipment, Plant and Vehicles used within Power T&D.

**What you'll be doing** Key Accountabilities**:

- To provide operational support to Power T&D across the areas of Plant, Vehicles and PPE
- Point of contact for PPE and Vehicle enquiries and Fall Arrest Equipment orders
- Assist with fall arrest equipment inspections at both fixed and temporary BB locations

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Point of contact for general vehicle, PPE and plant enquiries and escalations.
- Attend meetings with suppliers and other BB staff with regards to vehicles, PPE and plant
- Provide support to operational teams for vehicle requests & supply and maintenance and calibration bookings.
- Help to maintain a high level of driving compliance
- Support with demand planning for specialist plant and vehicles
- Efficiently update Microsoft Excel based Fall Arrest Equipment Inspection system from paperwork provided by the PPE Controller.
- Assist with nationwide fall arrest equipment inspections when required
- Receive and arrange supply of Fall Arrest Equipment Orders for site-based teams. Book items in/out of stock on the Oracle system while following the company stock management rules
- Carry out periodic stock checking
- Efficiently plan activities to maximise productivity, minimising personal travel and disruption to site operations
- Assist with other reasonable duties within the department.

**Essential**:

- Experience of managing and planning own workload
- Knowledge of MS Word, Excel & Outlook

**Desirable**:

- Full clean driving license
- Qualified examiner of Fall Arrest Equipment
- Experience of Power T&D PPE, working methods and project safety rules
- BESC card
