The Survey Team is responsible for the end-to-end delivery of survey projects across corporate sectors, population geographies, and client types. The Survey Team drives the execution of hundreds of survey projects per month. This position requires meticulous attention to detail, the ability to prioritise and multi-task, excellent written and verbal communication skills, a keen analytic outlook, as well as a passion for creative problem solving, client service and project management.

The Senior Research Executive will be responsible for the creation and execution of surveys that help clients qualify and quantify industry/market trends through commercial assessments, product forecasting, and general marketplace analysis.

This role is based out of our London office & operates under GLG's hybrid working policy. Working in Corporate, you'll be expected to work from the office 8x monthly. Further details will be provided to you during the interview process.

**Specific responsibilities include (but are not limited to)**:

- Involved in scoping new research requests from our clients, including helping to determine the most appropriate research methodology
- Helping to manage fieldwork, liaising with our internal teams and vendors to ensure projects run smoothly and according to the project timeline
- Assist in the development of customised surveys targeting specialised topics and populations
- Design survey requests with complex requirements and client-specific preferences
- Manage sampling and data collection on multiple projects simultaneously
- Establish and build strong working relationships with colleagues, partners, and clients
- Contribute to the generation of new research opportunities with our clients and supporting the development of research proposals
- At least 1-2 years of previous work experience in market research, either client side or agency
- Experience in managing parts of the research process e.g. survey design,
- Familiarity with survey platforms, ideally Decipher (not mandatory)
- Experience collaborating with team-members in a high-throughput, deadline-driven, process-oriented, client-servicing environment
- Familiarity with a variety industry, including, but not limited to: Tech, Payments, and Consumer Goods
- Experience with questionnaire and survey writing/programming, e.g. experience with Decipher or any
- other survey platforms helpful (not mandatory)
- Experience with data review and cleaning / quality checking before publishing
- Experience with handling statistical requests / data processing
- Superior writing, logic and interaction skills; including oral and organisational skills
- Exposure to programming logic or any programming language (not mandatory)
- Proven ability to work in a rigorous, fast-moving environment
- Excellent conceptual and analytic skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritise, identify and solve problems
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Undergraduate degree from a top university
- Full business proficiency in English

**Career Progression**:
12-24 months after consistent high-quality end-to-end delivery and quality of relationship management, Senior Survey Associates typically progress onto Survey Manager roles where you are responsible for your own book of business, managing client relationships, overseeing junior members and increasing account management responsibilities.
