Project Support Administrator

An excellent opportunity to join one of the most respected specialist contractors in the UK offering design, manufacture and installation services for the complete building envelope.
**What will you be doing?**
You will be responsible for providing clerical and administrative support to ensure the smooth running of Alumet’s operations on site.
Documentation for onboarding/offboarding of staff and processing of paperwork/sending information to Head Office.
Preparation of correspondence, reports, letters and other documents as required by the Project/Site Manager.
Absence/sickness monitoring - recording absence on relevant spreadsheets and informing Head office. Collating self-certification forms, absence forms, doctors fit notes.
Establishing and maintaining site files in accordance with Alumet’s Management System.
Scanning, photocopying, distributing and filing documents as required.
Updating the training database as required.
Maintaining the site’s CAD drawing registers and files.
Arrange meetings by scheduling appropriate meeting times, booking rooms, taking minutes and planning refreshments.
Manage booking in area and record sheets with weekly data consolidation.
Collection from Security of visitors and safe transit to required work area.
Give all permanent staff and visitors office area inductions on arrival.
Arranges PPE for permanent staff and visitors.
Liaising with the Main Contractor’s Project Team and other sub-contractors as required.
Assisting with booking and co-ordinating deliveries to site.
Placing orders for materials both internally and externally with suppliers.
Assisting the Project team to ensure all records are kept up to date.
**Where will you be working?**
On site at Hinkley Point C.
**What we’d like from you**
Due to the security clearance process you MUST have a full UK visa.
Strong administration experience.
Experience of working as a Site Administrator at Hinkley Point or another construction site would be of benefit.
Excellent IT skills in Microsoft programmes, especially Word and Excel.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Organised, diligent and methodical.
Excellent attention to detail.
Good team player.
Ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Be professional, customer friendly, amenable and a team player.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Good eye for detail and ability to critique standards to ensure high quality finish.
Ability to remain calm under pressure.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
