**The Team**

The teams sits within the London Market Chief Underwriter’s office supporting our underwriting teams with broker development from a strategic level. The Hiscox London Market Broker Relations team is the bridge between Hiscox’s underwriting teams and Hiscox’s broker partners. Through a deep understanding of what Hiscox’s underwriters can deliver and what brokers are looking for, Broker Relations help to deliver better relationships, better decisions, and better outcomes. The team seek to ensure that our Underwriters across different classes of business are capitalising on the opportunities we have from our brokers and evolving as needs change. Crucial to this is ensuring we extract maximum value from the Broker Consulting Agreements and managing larger facility opportunities.

**The role**

You will be an integral part of the Broker Relations team. You will support the Broker Relations Manager and London Market executives with strategic planning, development and execution of broker plans with our strategic brokers. If you like variety, building strong and long lasting relationships then this role is for you. This is a highly visible role both internally and externally with the senior management teams from our broking partners. You will also have the opportunity to work closely with the Group & London Market Head of Broker Relations in delivering the broker distribution strategy.

**What you’ll be doing**
- Working with and providing ongoing management of strategic broker initiatives
- Managing output and activity from monthly and quarterly broker meetings to ensure agreed timescales are adhered to and relevant stakeholders aware of progress
- Monitoring and reporting on broker performance focusing on new business, retention & profitability
- Co-ordinating stakeholder map to ensure alignment and engagement with strategic brokers
- Production of Management Information reports
- Production of pipelines from broking systems and ensuring these are distributed to the underwriters in a timely manner
- Supporting the central management of all broker legal agreements across Hiscox London Market ensuring adherence to ABR policy
- Support in the negotiation of local broker arrangements
- Ad-hoc projects
- Support the management of existing broker facilities by engaging with all stakeholders and producing a half year review report for our executives
- Building and maintaining long lasting relationships with Brokers, Colleagues and Market Peers
- Network internally and externally to promote the interests of Hiscox London Market, to learn from others to contribute to the opportunity and knowledge sharing culture
