Role Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Reinsurance Broker to join our team in our City of London Office. The successful candidate will be responsible for brokering reinsurance deals, managing client relationships, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.


Qualifications

  • Analytical Skills, Communication, and Underwriting skills
  • Experience in the Insurance industry and understanding of Finance
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Finance, Economics, or Business
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Professional certifications in Insurance or Reinsurance is a plus


Key Responsibilities:

  • Broker reinsurance deals, including property risk and other lines of business.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, reinsurers, and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends to identify opportunities for new business.
  • Provide training and support to team members on reinsurance-related matters.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Reinsurance Broker or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of reinsurance products, underwriting, and industry regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience in the insurance and reinsurance industry is a strong advantage.
