We are looking for a **Purchase to Pay Regional Lead** to join our Finance team. This role will be based at The Merlin Hub - Basingstoke office, with hybrid-working available, and reports into the P2P Manager on a permanent basis.

**About the Role...**

As a Regional Lead, you will be responsible for supporting the business with day to day queries and assisting the P2P Manager with weekly /monthly reporting. Key activities include being a key point of contact for regional teams to assist with any issues, identifying areas of non-compliance and liaising with the business to resolve, and being proactive and responsive to business needs.

You will be responsible for processing both PO and Non-PO supplier invoices accurately using NetSuite and COUPA. Additionally, you will oversee the generation of weekly payment cycles in various currencies through HSBC. You will play a crucial part in supporting cross-training initiatives across different regions and ensuring that open items and debit balances are cleared by month-end deadlines. Monthly statement reconciliations for key suppliers will also be part of your responsibilities.

Collaboration with regional teams will be essential for GRNI clear down, and you will be the point of contact to resolve day-to-day issues with local Finance Business Partners. Working with cross-functional teams, you will contribute to maintaining efficient and compliant processes. Managing the PO process, you will provide training and support, handle escalations from a busy AP Mailbox, and follow up on pending invoices.

Compliance with the supplier setup process will be crucial, and you will have the opportunity to assist in implementing new processes and systems. Finally, you will offer support to the Head of P2P/P2P Manager on various projects, contributing to the overall success of the team and organisation.

**About You...**
- You will have considerable experience as a P2P Associate or similar role
- Self-motivated and a self-starter, with the ability to build strong relationships and work as part of a team
- Must be comfortable with high volumes of transactions and be able to manage different work streams and priorities workload
- Strong attention to detail and strong knowledge of Microsoft packages, including Excel
- A confident communicator; written and verbal
- A positive can-do attitude, especially when faced with challenges and time constraints
- You will have an open mind, with the ability to adapt to change as the success within continues to push this team forwards
- Knowledge and understanding of simple financial concepts such as accruals, reporting and bookkeeping
- Good interpersonal skills, able to build partnerships with key stakeholder groups
- Technical capability to learn relevant systems and programs, including key commercial systems
- Good time management skills, ensuring all deadlines are met
- Regularly seeks process improvement opportunities and networks internally to implement solutions
- Attention to detail to ensure information presented to senior stakeholders is accurate and reliable to be used to support decisions
- Ability to look for simplicity in work for the benefit of the team and organisation, maintaining compliance and delivering cost and time saving benefits
