**Your new opportunity**

We are currently recruiting **Sessional Family Support Workers** in **Dumfries** which has supported people since 1999. The service provides short breaks to children and young people with complex support needs where they can feel supported to achieve personal goals and positive outcomes.

As a Sessional Family Support Worker you will be joining a dedicated regional team who are passionate about supporting children, young people and young adults after school and within in their own home or community. Working closely with families you will play a key part and assisting with making a difference to local families who are affected by disability.

**Working pattern**: This is a sessional post where support is provided to families during evenings and weekends when required.

- Empathy and excellent communication skills
- Excellent team player
