**Are you passionate about leading family support services in a community based setting? Are you looking for a full time senior role within social care based in Dumfries? If so, then we have a great opportunity to join our Quarriers as a Senior Family Support Worker**

**Your new opportunity**

We are currently recruiting a **Senior Family Support Worker **to join our dedicated family support team in **Dumfries**. The service provides support to children and young people with a learning or physical disability to enabling them to live fulfilling lives and thrive within the community.

As a **Senior Family Support Worker** you will lead, train and supervisor staff to ensure a high quality service is provided to children and families. You will be involved in assessment, care planning and working directly with individuals helping them achieve their full potential and personal goals.

This is a **full time permanent role** working **37 hours per week** with **agile working** in place which is a combination of working which blends home-working with office time and service visits.

**What you will need to bring to the role**
- You will be a natural leader who promotes person-centre care.
- Skills in leading a team and providing sound professional advise to families.
- An understanding and willing to contribute towards positive work practice of others.
- Passion and commitment to providing the highest quality of service to children, young people and families.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to embrace community based care and intergration while promoting positive experience for children & young people.
- Experience within a similar role and willing to work towards recognised qualifications.
- Driving licence is required as you will be expect to travel depending on organisational and service needs.
