**About the role and our team**

We're seeking a dynamic Consultant in Public Health to join our team. Be the first permanent appointment to this vital role, in which you will offer expert advice and leadership to safeguard the population health of the Isle of Man. Your passion to make a difference, within an evidence-based and ethical approach, will be paramount.

You will deputise for the Director of Public Health when required and take the lead in the development and delivery of Healthcare Public Health and Health Protection.

Public Heath Isle of Man is separate to UK public health systems but the Directorate works closely with UK organisations and other Crown Dependencies.

This is a unique opportunity to support the Director to lead the public health agenda in an independent jurisdiction, working across the system with policymakers, service providers and community partners for better health and well-being for all Isle of Man residents.
