We are recruiting for a **Debt Recovery Handler** to join our expanding team.

If indemnity is not granted following our customer notifying us that they’ve been involved in an incident, then this is where you’ll come in as a Debt Recovery Handler. You will liaise with the customer to seek recovery of the costs incurred, discuss repayment options and if necessary, review our position to instruct a solicitor to recover these costs via the Court.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Investigate and proactively manage recovery opportunities.
- Provide excellent customer service and negotiate with customers.
- Achieve cost efficient conclusions.
- Build strong professional relationships with colleagues and clients.

**Required Skills/Experience**:

- Previous experience of debt recovering is preferred but not essential.
- Be able to work as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Organised with ability to proactively manage your workload.
