**About the Role**:
**Our Revenue Management Team have the opportunity for a Pricing Specialist to take up their latest career challenge within a leading name in holiday industry.**
This is a 10 month Fixed Contract position starting as soon as possible.
Paying a salary up to £25,000 per annum
Plus access to our annual STIP (annual company-wide bonus) scheme with up to an additional 10% of your salary

The Pricing Specialist role contributes to the success of both Market Pricing and New Property Pricing Teams. As a whole team we are focused on optimising revenue for our property owners and for the business by setting optimal pricing for new and existing owners.
This role plays a key role in the department as a pricing expert who is a point of contact for owners and a support to internal stakeholders in the Property Recruitment and Operations teams.
**Your Responsibilities**:
Handling inbound and outbound contact with owners to discuss property pricing and give data led advice
Developing a thorough understanding of Revenue Management processes, initiatives and decisions and using this information to provide expert advice to owners and internal stakeholders
Promoting revenue management initiatives such as Super Income Maximisation & short breaks to owners by selling the benefits. This requires a detailed understanding of the various options and commercial terms in order to maximise income and revenue for both owners and Sykes
Working with the Revenue Management team to create owner friendly compelling evidence to support the promotion of income and short break options
Using various data sources to prepare thoroughly researched pricing proposals and income projections for new property leads
Providing logical guidelines to the Negotiation team on pricing flexibility based on Income Maximisation and Short Break options, creating a negotiation range for them to work within
Assessing and approving pricing proposals as submitted by our Property Consultants
Liaising with Property Consultants to provide feedback on pricing, and coaching where necessary
Implementing and championing new pricing strategies generated by the Pricing Research team into pricing proposals, and promoting this to the Negotiation and field teams
The team operates 6 days a week on a shift-based rota and open hours are from 9am-7pm Mon - Fri and 9-5:30pm Saturdays. These hours rotate between 9am-5:30pm and 10:30am-7pm but may change seasonally as responding within tight deadlines to meet SLA’s is essential in this role.
The role holder will be an analytical, results oriented individual who is an excellent communicator and has a commercially focused mindset.

- Understanding of browser based IT systems
- Experience using MS Office suite (Excel etc)

- Understanding of demand elasticity and revenue management
- Experience of contract and commercial terms negotiation
- Ability to effectively communicate with other teams to influence change
- Experience of working within the travel and tourism industry and/or property sectors (e.g. estate agency or residential lettings)
