**Job overview**:
The work of the Centre is challenging and interesting, calling on the full breadth of a Forensic or Clinical Psychologists skillset. We regularly attract students and trainees of all disciplines, as well as interns. The Centre has become the hub for a set of supportive and productive working relationships across Police, Probation and other Public Protection partners. The successful applicant will be joining a community of staff who are enthusiastic, mutually supportive and effective.

**Main duties of the job**:
The successful applicant will be expected to clinically lead and develop the Offender Personality Disorder pathway, which is a well supported national initiative with very good regional relationships, coordination and CPD. A key interface will be with the Trust’s Public Protection Single Point of Contact.

In 2012 the Cornwall Centre for Mental Health and Justice evolved from the Community Forensic Mental Health Team (CFMHT), one of the longest established CFMHT’s in England. The Centre is based on the top floor of Cornwall Police Headquarters in Bodmin, ensuring high levels of sustainable partnership working with other Criminal Justice Agencies across Devon and Cornwall. Bodmin is easily accessible from a wide range of spectacular locations in the County. The Police HQ is a vibrant and positive working environment, encouraging the best of collaborative partnership working.
