**Rethink Mental Illness are hiring an experienced Team Leader to join our inspiring and friendly team at Newton Poppleford Service - Devon ECRS (CQC Service)**

1 x Part-time post available - 21 hours per week
- Appointments will be made at the bottom of the salary band

**As a Team Leader some of your duties will include**:

- I allocate work and monitor the team’s contribution to objectives / outcomes for the service; planning and prioritising key areas of work
- I ensure that appropriate staff resource is in place to meet the service outcomes specification
- I role model behaviours and values, as a lead practitioner, providing expertise and guidance on practice issues to the team
- I support and develop your team through on the job coaching, individual supervision and group supervision
- I ensure staff development activities are the most appropriate and are within budget
- I support the recruitment and induction of staff and volunteers within the service
- I ensure effective communications are in place and the team is informed of organisational and service developments
- I work with the team in identifying, developing and maintaining quality improvements, seeking opportunities for positive and progressive change and innovation in the delivery of services. Looking for additional ways to exceed customers or stakeholder expectations
- I ensure all administrative, recording and reporting requirements, such as RIS/RIVO are undertaken and monitor the quality of data and information.

**Essential skills and experienced required for this role**:

- Experience of providing support to people with a mental illness; or experience of providing care and/or support services within another social care setting in either a paid or voluntary capacity.
- Knowledge and understanding of recovery principles and embedding the ethos of recovery into your own practice.
- The ability to make a comprehensive assessment of an individual’s situation and needs; to develop, implement and review risk management plans and devise support plans to meet these needs.
