Tour Coordinator

Our fantastic client based in the heart of Cheltenham are one of Britain’s most trusted and experienced tour operators are currently recruiting for a Tour Coordinator to join their team on a permanent basis.
Most of the tours operated are customer-made, designed, and priced specifically for each client, so excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
**Responsibilities/Duties;**
- To make all necessary arrangements, confirmations, payments etc with relevant suppliers such as hotels, coach companies, guides, restaurants, visitor attractions etc.
- Ensure that accurate records are kept of all arrangements made for tours.
- Responsible for organizing specified itineraries & tours so as to achieve the closest possible match to the clients’ requirements.
- Where appropriate to make a creative contribution to the content of tours, based on relevant knowledge and experience
- To assist where necessary with the preparation of tour materials, written itineraries etc, and to check these for accuracy.
- Ensure that specified services for tours are delivered within budget in order to maximise the profitability of the tour.
- Ensure as far as possible that accurate records are kept of all costs, disbursements etc.
- Previous experience in a similar role is essential
- Good computer skills - knowledge of Microsoft Word/Excel etc.
- Travel coordination experience would be beneficial but not essential
**Hours-** Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm
**Salary-** £25,000 + Opportunity to travel to gain knowledge on familiarisation trips, Annual bonus scheme related to company performance, Workplace Pension Scheme, 28 working days (including public holidays) with a loyalty scheme of 1 additional holiday day per year (for every 3 years of completed employment).
