KS2 Teaching Assistant Required
**Your new company**
Your new school will be a lovely 3 form-entry school in the heart of Warwick. The role is supporting KS2 pupils, predominantly in Year 5 and 6. The hours are 830-13.30, with an hour as a Mid Day Supervisor.
**Your new role**
You'll be working within a classroom environment assisting with year 5&6 KS2 children. To succeed strong written skills are essential. You will need to be able to work to your own initiative and must be organised and hold and willing to help carry out workset by the class teacher. You may be asked to help assist with marking the children's work. You will be regularly communicating with staff, parents/careers and children, so good communication is a must. You must have strong behaviour management skills andbe committed to ensure the children stay on task, and help to engage and encourage the children.
**What you'll need to succeed**
To succeed as a KS2 Teaching Assistant you will need to have experience working within a school environment and have worked in a school setting within the past two years. You must have a good understanding of the KS2 curriculum with strong maths and Englishskills and be confident in carrying out small group learning.
