Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team at Aspire People. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of students in a primary school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to teachers and students across all primary school classes, assisting with lesson planning and delivery.
  • Offer tailored support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and English as an Additional Language (EAL), helping them to achieve their full potential.
  • Engage with students in a positive and encouraging manner, promoting a love of learning and supporting their social and emotional development.
  • Assist with the management of classroom behavior, maintaining a safe and respectful learning environment.
  • Maintain clear communication with teachers, parents, and other professionals involved in the students' education, ensuring a collaborative approach to supporting student needs.

Requirements:

  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification - Essential.
  • Proven experience working in a primary school setting, supporting SEN and EAL children.
  • Enhanced DBS check on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
