**JOB DESCRIPTION**
- Job Title: Internal Sales Administrator_
- Responsible to: Trade Counter Manager_
- Main Purpose: To provide administrative and operational support to the internal sales team. The Internal Sales Support Administrator will assist sales representatives, interacts with customers, and helps streamline sales operations._
**Main tasks and duties;**
- Collaborate with the sales team to assist with order processing, pricing, and product information.
- Prepare and send quotes, and purchase orders as required.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of products or services.
- Address customer inquiries regarding product availability, order status, and delivery schedules.

- Coordinate with the warehouse or distribution team to ensure accurate and timely order fulfilment.
- Monitor inventory levels and work with inventory control to prevent stockouts or overstock situations.
- Track and manage backorders and communicate delays to customers as needed.
**General Administration**
- Maintenance of all filing systems including Microsoft 365;
- Ensure all sales-related documentation is accurately filed and easily accessible
- **Communications**_
- Ensure communications are maintained at the highest possible level between management and the workforce and keep your manager advised of impending situations which could develop into more serious problems;
- Use Microsoft 365 to log activities etc;
- Liaise with the sales team to provide timely updates on order status, customer requests, and potential issues.
- **Health & Safety**_
- Through good housekeeping procedures ensure that a safe and clean working environment is kept at all times.
- **Administration**_
- Ensure that all reports, studies etc. required are accurate, submitted on time and to the required standard.
- **General**_
- Ensure compliance with the company's Equal Opportunity Policy;
- Any other duties as may reasonably be required.
**The person will have:
- **
- 5 GCSEs or equivalent at Grade C or above (to include Maths & English);
- At least 1 years in sales / admin / trade counter experience;
- Working knowledge of windows / database software including excel;
- Excellent communication skills, be professionally presented and have the ability to deal effectively with a diverse customer base;
- A knowledge of building products while not essential would be desirable.
