**As we are growing and looking to invest in the hotel and its bedrooms, We have a position for a part time receptionist with an immediate start available, 16-32 hours a week.**

**Full training will be provided**

**PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF POSITION**

To increase customer satisfaction by providing efficient, prompt, trouble free and courteous Font Office service connected with arriving, and in-house guests, in line with the hotel’s guidelines

**TASKS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

**PROVIDE THE HIGHEST STANDARD OF SERVICE TO GUESTS**
- Is available to register, process, and greet guests promptly.
- Checks the daily arrival list, ensuring all relevant Back up is present.
- Welcomes customer to the hotel.
- Responds to customer requests for information about the hotel and its surroundings.
- Arranges for special services requested by the customer.
- Arranges fulfillment of customer services by working with:

- Porters
- Housekeeping
- Reservations
- Food & Beverage
- Allocates rooms and issues appropriate keys.
- Follows-up and verifies arrivals by updating registration cards in regards to spelling of guest’s name, address and special requests
- Changes room rates and guest rooms if approved by Duty Manager.
- Handles incoming guest room reservations.
- Is aware, at all times, of current room status and room availability.
- Is fully aware of, and knows how to handle, all current and future hotel promotions.
- Increases hotel revenue by promoting food and beverage alternatives within the hotel.
- Minimises loss of revenue by adhering to all established credit procedures
- Insures all guests establish credit upon check-in

PLEASE NOTE YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO WORK HOURS OVER CHRISTMAS PERIOD, HOWEVER THIS IS MADE FAIR TO ALL MEMBERS ON OUR TEAM.

Part-time hours: 16-32 per week.

Shifts: 7am-3pm ( 2 days per week) 3pm-11pm or 4pm-11pm ( 2 days per week)
