**Location: Telford**
This frontline reception position offers an interesting and varied role, in a busy working environment. This role would suit someone who is interested in delivering excellent customer service.
You will learn to provide a fast and efficient telephone answering service, ensuring that all enquiries are transferred quickly to the correct person or department, and take accurate messages when needed.
You will assist with travel, hotel and meeting lunch bookings for colleagues across the business as well as helping coordinate the ingoing/outgoing post and replacing office facilities/refreshments where required.
You will be working as part of a small team to give consistent and effective cover and providing admin support to the Office Manager and PA team.
Part of this role will be to welcome visitors into our facility, which hosts a secure data centre, with a focus on maintaining the security of the site and access into these environments, ensuring that the strict access procedures are always adhered to.
**Reception and Security**
- Ensure that robust systems, procedures and protocols are in place at all times to protect data and physical security
- Ensure procedures are in place to greet visitors in line with security procedures, ensuring all processes are followed
- Ensuring refreshments are available to colleagues i.e. tea/squash and filling/cleaning the coffee/vending machine
- Answering the Reception telephone line and forwarding calls to the relative departments
- General care and maintenance of the communal areas
- Facilities and H&S Administration including sign in sheets, key registers, visitor and lone working sheets
- Providing refreshments for meetings and training sessions as required
- Booking hotels and train tickets
- Sorting incoming and outgoing mail/parcels and keeping the goods received log up to date
- Reconciling Facilities credit card statement and keeping records up to date in a timely fashion
- Ordering and stock keeping for refreshments, stationery, and toiletries
- Other admin tasks as required
