The Lead Group Coordinator's directly line manager a number of Group Coordinators and Administrative Assistants within the UK Engineering Support team.

As well as line management, the Lead GCs are also responsible for ensuring resourcing is covered across the UK and Region whilst also carrying out the GC role and responsibilities.

**Key Duties**:

- Direct line management of Group Coordinator/s and Administration Assistant/s
- Manage allocation of IT hardware and software, ensuring that the IT requirements of the group are notified to IT support
- Liaising and working with central business services teams when required
- Working with H&S to ensure CSCS Card compliance within the team and assisting with the booking of tests and cards.
- Submission of Group Leader and Group Partners expenses to Finance
- Training Engineers in the use of the company systems/ Buro Happold Templates
- Liaison with L&D on implementation of courses, events etc
- Ensure adherence to the administration side of our QMS
- Ensure that common systems and templates are set up and that any problems are communicated to IT Support

**Your Skills & Experience**:

- Excellent computer and IT skills including; Word, PowerPoint, Excel and experience of using spreadsheets and databases
- Knowledge and good experience of InDesign (desk top publishing package) - training can be provided
- Solid foundation of office experience
- Experience of setting up and maintaining administrative procedures and quality management systems
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to negotiate and influence key stakeholders
- Confident, proactive and resilient character, with the ability to take the lead in challenging situations
- Ability to problem solve and think on your feet
- Comfortable supporting a team of people as well as working on a one to one basis.
- Must be motivated to work under own initiative
- Introduces and takes ownership of the implementation of new ideas for the smooth running of the group.
- Ability to prioritise workload and manage deadlines.
- Must be adaptable and open to change
- Communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Recognise that different people need to be managed in different ways and treat people appropriately
