**THE OPPORTUNITY**

We have commenced our search for an experienced **Front Office Supervisor** to join new property **Holiday Inn Blackpool.** **Due to open mid-2023, and reporting to the Front Office Manager. This brand-new four-star hotel is part of a wider regeneration project for Blackpool including retail units and improved public transport links, with a new tram terminal, all within the Talbot Gateway central business district. The property boasts 144 bedrooms, 3 meeting rooms and well renowned restaurant Marco Pierre White New York Italian, with independent street access.

Duties and responsibilities for this amazing role includes the following:

- Responsible for the day to day running of the front desk, overseeing shifts, managing guest expectations, and delivering guest satisfaction.
- Acting as a Duty Manager on a rota basis.
- Engage, lead and develop the team to provide excellent guest service.
- Train and implement Brand standards within the team.
- Ensure all team responsibilities are completed to the required standards.

**WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU**

To succeed in the role of Front Office Supervisor, you will need the following qualities and skills.
- Experience of working within a branded hotel environment, in a customer facing role.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining a positive can-do attitude.
- Friendly efficient team player.
- A visible leader who can demonstrate a confident approach to problem solving and service recovery.
- Ability to train and develop your team, with a planned approach to managing the team
- Deliver excellent customer service.
- Proactive shift management skills and great time management skills.
- Enthusiastic with the ability to multitask
- Opera PMS experience preferred
