WEMU forms part of the Same Day Emergency Care (SDEC) provision across the community in Oxfordshire. We work closely with our colleagues in the OUH. Our team consists of nurses, paramedics, occupational and physio therapists and medics, nurse associates and healthcare assistants and a team administrator. We provide comprehensive and integrated assessments and interventions for people over the age of 18 with sub-acute/urgent care health needs.
Each patient receives an individualised MDT assessment, diagnostics and treatment. WEMU integrates with Abingdon Emergency Multi
- Disciplinary Unit (AEMU), Rapid Access Unit (RACU) and Hospital at Home service in providing high quality responsive delivery of Urgent and Ambulatory Care within Oxfordshire. We aim to empower and support patients to effectively manage their conditions. What we need from you
Be self-motivated and able to work autonomously as well as showing initiative and promoting new ideas on how to improve the service. Be compassionate, caring and creative with excellent communication skills.
