**Milton Keynes - Agency Support Worker.**
- **Paterson Health and Social Care Agency**_ are recruiting experienced Support Workers with a good knowledge and understanding of Autism and Learning Disabilities to support individuals in residential & supported living services.

We are looking for support workers who want to make a real and positive impact on people’s lives, where every day is different.
- Shifts available: Early, Late, Long Day, Night, Sleep In & Weekends_
- Pay Rates: _£11.00-£13.00 per hour
- _Weekdays - £11.00 / Night - £12.00_
- _Saturday - £12.00 / Night - £13.00_
- _Sunday - £13.00 / Nights - £14.00_
- _Bank Holidays - £16.50 / Night - £18.00_
- _Sleep in - £47.00_
- As we are an agency, we offer a zero hour, temporary contract. This is very flexible, so you can work around your other commitments._

**Working as part of an established staff team supporting with**:

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- A minimum of _**12 months experience working in a support worker role with an agency or 6 months as a permanent worker**_
- An excellent understanding of Autism Spectrum Disorder
- Understand the importance of routines & sensory processing for individuals
- Ability to offer a person centred approach as outlined in individual care plans
- Experience supporting people with additional / complex needs and challenging behaviour
- Level 3 Diploma or equivalent in Health & Social Care - desirable but not essential
- Flexible approach
- Reliable, confident and honest
- _**Car driver desirable but not essential**_

**Essential Criteria**:

- Ability to travel to the location
- Minimum of 6-12 months UK care experience that can be referenced
- Authorisation to work in the UK.

**Experience**:

- Autism: 1 year (required)
- Learning Disability: 1 year (required)
