Clinical Transformation Co-ordinator, Band 6

**Fixed/Secondment term**: 1 year

**Full Time**: 37.5 hours per week

A fantastic and exciting opportunity has arisen for a transformation Co-Ordinator to join the clinical transformation team on a 12 Month fixed term/secondment within Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust.

They will work within the clinical Transformation team that are extremely supportive and encouraging and offer a good collaborative team ethic. There are always opportunities available for development and progression largely supported by the team and line management.

The post holder will be responsible for working in partnership with the clinical transformation managers to engage staff to support the redesign of current systems, processes, documentation, training and delivering progress updates across multidisciplinary teams ensuring milestones are met and risk mitigated and/or managed where possible. Therefore, the individual will need the ability to work under pressure and respond to short timescales.
Role Requirements
- The role will require good planning and organisational skills specifically the development of clear and pragmatic plans for delivering projects.
- The post holder should be able to demonstrate good communication skills and be pro-active and motivated to lead others whilst also working to varied senior managers and clinical leads, sometimes with competing priorities.
- Document service processes to a high level of details, have the knowledge and confidence to challenge and question the steps when process mapping to obtain the highest level of detail required, support and contribute to process reviews and data analysis to make recommendations to change.
- To liaise with Training, System Configuration workstream leads to enable understanding of work context, work processes and roles.
- To liaise with the trainers in developing, testing and any training programmes.
- Supporting and working with all members of the Clinical transformation workstream to ensure consistency of outputs, sharing of best practice and the successful achievement of workstream deliverables.

Overview of the Post

Working closely with colleagues across the Trust the post-holder will:

- Advise on the development of the Trust’s clinical information system to support clinical processes, service management, and business planning and benefits realisation, to ensure that the system meets the evolving requirements of the Trust.
- Assist on the development of clinical best practice and the transformation of clinical processes to support the realisation of trust priorities
- Work in partnership with clinical transformation managers to engage with staff to support the redesign of current systems, processes and implement key changes in working practices in order to maximise the benefits of assisted technologies.
- To create Process design documents to provide training outline storyboard / extracts / demonstrations.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities
- To engage with staff to support the redesigns of current systems processes and implement changes to working practices in order to maximise the benefits of assistive technologies.
- To work closely with teams reviewing existing data, input/quality, user issues and validation reports and to advise on the resolution of problems and make recommendations using their knowledge and understanding of the clinical information system.
- To work closely with service managers and teams to support and promote clinical quality and audit within all services, directorates and specialities and to ensure that best practice is developed
