We are urgently looking for a Senior Administrator to work in Manchester for a public sector client. The role is on until the end of June and is a temporary role

Hybrid role with 2/3 days in the office.

Key Responsibilities, Accountabilities or Duties:

- To be responsible for the administration of Postgraduate Research activity to support the delivery of the assigned area.
- To supervise and coordinate the work of Postgraduate Research activity of the assigned area and act as a point of reference.
- To provide information, advice and guidance to customers.
- To work flexibly as required across the University, supporting the delivery of local priorities, operating at all times as a single cross University team.
- To have awareness and active engagement with the need for diversity and inclusion in all that we do for example, when working with individuals who identify with a protected characteristic under the Equality Act, students who are under-represented in higher education as outlined in the University's widening participation strategy.
- To be responsible for your own data management, the student record and data quality for all related areas of Teaching Learning and Student Experience delivery.
- To maintain and update system records with appropriate reference to current data protection legislation and provide reports.
- To assist with the planning, organisation and delivery of events.
- To organise and service meetings.
- To assist with the evaluation and monitoring of office processes.
- To act in accordance with and promote policies and requirements at all times - in particular those relating to health and safety; equality, diversity and inclusion; and information governance.
- To support the development, implementation and monitoring of relevant policies and procedures, ensuring that this is compliant with relevant external bodies.
- To support the work of the team with appropriate management information, data, and analysis.
- To deliver excellent customer service.
- To play an active role on relevant groups and actively participate in communities of practice for particular areas of activity in order to identify, develop and implement best practice.
- To undertake such other duties commensurate with the level of responsibility for the role, as directed by your line manager.
- Assist with the delivery and monitoring of projects and activities
