Hotel Receptionist

The Hermitage Hotel Bournemouth is looking for a dynamic Front Desk Receptionist to serve as our hotel guests’ first point of contact and assist the guests to make their stay comfortable and an enjoyable experience.
If you have the passion for customer services and work experience in the hotel industry, we would like to have you on board. Ultimately, you will help create a pleasant and memorable stay for our guests.
**Main responsibilities**
- Organise and carry out the day-to-day duties within reception.
- Warm welcome guests upon their arrival
- Perform all check-in and check-out tasks
- Answering internal and external calls in a polite, professional and courteous manner
- Respond to guests’ queries and complaints in a timely and professional manner
- Inform guests about additional facilities and services offered by the hotel or sister hotels within the group
- Act as guest liaison officers during their stay at the hotel
**Requirements**:
- Work experience as a Hotel Front Desk Agent, Receptionist or similar role
- Knowledge of Guest line /Opera system is advantageous but not essential
- Exceptional customer service skills with a great command of English, both verbal and written
- Ability to work under pressure and in a busy team environment
- Flexible with shift patterns, early mornings and late nights.
- Legal right to work in the UK
