Keith Borer Consultants is a leading name in Forensic Science Consultancy and Expert Witness services. We are looking for a dynamic self-starter who is passionate about digital forensics and wants to start or advance a career specialising in forensic examination of mobile devices and cloud data, and tachograph route tracing.

The position on offer is full time, based at our office in Durham and comes with on-the-job training that will be tailored to need and experience. Duties will include:

- Acquiring and processing evidence in your area of specialisation
- Preparing written reports which are accurate and easy to understand
- Peer reviewing the reports of colleagues
- Communicating directly with customers to establish requirements and provide estimates
- Advising Counsel, preparing joint expert statements and presenting evidence at Court
- Assisting in progressing and maintaining ISO 17025 accreditation
- Contributing to wider company practices, such as auditing and test witnessing

To be considered for this role you will likely have a digital forensics or computer-related degree, be organised and diligent, self-motivated, organised, and able to take responsibility for your own workload. You will need to have excellent verbal and written communication skills, be a critical thinker and have good attention to detail. The ability to work efficiently and effectively, irrespective of deadline, is essential.

The standard working week for a full time employee is 37.5 hours, Monday to Friday with hours to be agreed between 08:00 and 17:30.** **Travel throughout the UK, Republic of Ireland and occasionally further afield is to be expected; flexibility will be required to accommodate this.

A full UK driving licence is required.
