We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated Locality Admin Lead to join our Admin Team that supports the District Nursing and Intermediate Care Teams based at various sites across West Northamptonshire.

This is a newly created post that will help us strengthen our admin team structure and support the clinical teams to deliver better patient care. As Locality Admin Lead you will be responsible for the line management of the administrative team within the West Locality to include appraisals, managing sickness and ensuring deadlines are met.

You must work well as part of a team, possess good oral and written communication skills, have good computer skills and be flexible to the needs of the service. Previous clerical and line management experience, preferably in a healthcare setting, would be desirable.

Working life

**As a Locality Admin Lead, you’ll**:

- Support the smooth running of daily operational issues for the clinical teams
- Leadership of the Admin team within their localities.
- Focal point of day to day running of the admin function within their localities.
- Communicating at all levels in a knowledgeable and professional manner.

The service aims to provide an excellent standard of support to nursing staff, Service Managers and matrons You will report to the Admin Team Manager.

You will be working in an integrated skill mix team that includes other clinical administrators.

Must have skills

You will need to be adaptable and resourceful. You'll need to be well organised, confident and able to cope in diverse situations. Leadership and management skills are also important, as with all roles, communication skills, problem solving and good judgement are crucial.

You will be part of caring team and be able to work flexibly with minimum supervision, with the ability to prioritise work based on the patient need.
