Based in a Cotswold Manor House and beautiful grounds, the Harnhill Centre is situated in the small hamlet of Harnhill about four miles from Cirencester, surrounded by open countryside.

'The Harnhill Centre of Christian Healing’ is a registered charity founded in 1986. Under the guidance of the Trustees, the staff team is led by the Centre Director and Chaplain, who work alongside dedicated volunteers. In addition to the residential community and Ministry Team, we employ a Bursar, Administration Team, Chef, Housekeeper and part-time Housekeeping Team.

By offering a programme of residential retreats, day courses and worship services, the Centre provides a haven offering rest, refreshment and the healing love of Christ to all who need support and encouragement. The Ministry Team journey alongside our guests offering prayer ministry, shared worship and practical teaching.

**Main purposes of job**

To ensure the Director, Bursar and Ministry Team receive timely and efficient administrative support. To ensure enquiries coming into reception are dealt with effectively and guests’ needs are responded to appropriately.

**Key tasks**
- Assist with telephone calls, messages and answer enquiries, ensuring data protection requirements are met.
- Acting as administrative support to process bookings for groups hiring the house, Barn conference facility and meeting rooms.
- Welcoming visitors to reception, managing the visitor’s book and assisting residential guests with any enquiries.
- Assist with updating the website.
- Comply with Harnhill’s policies and procedures.
- Ensure posters and leaflets are available throughout the Centre.
- Receive and process donations, assist with maintaining gift aid documentation and thanking donors.
- Assist with processing payments as required, liaising with guests and organisations about payment of invoices.
- Preparation of banking.
- Administration of gift vouchers.
- Inputting information onto the office diary, setting dates for meetings and liaising with attendees, as required.
- Ordering from suppliers, as required.
- Receive and manage deliveries, including placing post into staff mail trays.
- Assist with cover in the Bookings Office, during colleagues’ holidays.
- Remain up to date and implement current safeguarding procedures.
- Remain up to date with Health and Safety Policies, including fire regulations.
- Assist with collation and maintenance of documentation for contractors etc as required and servicing of equipment.
- Other administrative duties as may from time to time be agreed with the Director.

- Meeting high standards of beneficiary satisfaction measured by beneficiary feedback.
