Greenfield Sales Ldr, Cs-emea Ukir Sales

We are looking for a very specific leadership profile to help us achieve our goals. On top of specific qualifications listed below, we are also seeking the following skills and experiences:
- Executive Sales experience and track record in leading a large-scale complex organization across multiple functions and countries, including strategy, execution, organizational transformation with demonstrated success in consistently achieving business objectives.
- Proven track record in winning greenfield business, negotiating and closing large and complex enterprise cloud transformation deals across multiple industry segments and of advising senior stakeholders in the delivery of transformational programs in large Enterprises.
- Excellent leadership track record of leading multi discipline country teams including leadership teams of senior leaders (leader of leaders) in a matrixed organization with strong people empowerment, team and cultural belonging.
- This individual has a deep understanding of digital transformation, the nature of disruption and how cloud adoption impacts business results for large enterprises across various industries.
- Proven track record of establishing customer and partner executive relationships, and experience selling directly and through partners, software products or technology services, and coaching large sales organizations to do the same.
- Experience in engaging with government and regulatory stakeholders/environments, sensitivity to and understanding of the regulatory requirements large enterprises in various industries operate in.
- Proven track record as a communicator such that you are an excellent and experienced public speaker comfortable with large audiences. Excellent proficiency in written and spoken English is mandatory.
- Deep experience with working in the the UK&I business cultures. Extensive customer and partner network at C-Suite level across UK&I.
- Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent)

As we rapidly grow our business, we are seeking a senior commercial executive, to take on the role as the of managing Greenfield across UK&I.
We are looking for a self-starter who is prepared to develop, own and execute the Enterprise Greenfield strategy in line with AWS strategic direction. Defining market segment strategy, ensuring effective executive engagement with Enterprise Greenfield customers, and achieving scale through partners, marketing and the Central Sales function.
This role is requires an individual with executive presence who can speak fluently about our business and investments across UK&I and suitably represent our business with customer and partner executives, with Government and Regulators as well as with external press, media and at official events/speaking engagements. This leader will bring strong C-level relationships (in line-of-business and IT/CIO functions) to help further establish AWS as the leader in enterprise cloud computing. In this role, you will have a direct responsibility to empower and inspire customers to leverage AWS innovations, to power their digital transformation journey in the cloud, to deliver business value. You will establish and maintain strong executive customer relationships.
Key job responsibilities
- Be an active member of the AWS Senior Leadership team, and a co-owner of business strategy creation, execution and delivering the overall AWS UK&I sector business result.
- Develop the short, medium, and long-term Enterprise Greenfield strategy including critical scaling mechanisms like marketing, sales plays and campaigns, executive engagement, skills and enablement.
- Directly lead the UK&I Enterprise Greenfield sales team in building and executing a strong local go-to-market strategy leveraging the full strength of Amazon and AWS to accelerate revenue growth, including developing opportunity pipeline, driving revenue growth and user adoption as well as direct sales engagements cross key industry verticals acting as executive sponsor for key customer and partner relationships.
- Represent a consolidated view of the UK&I Enterprise Greenfield business, financial and operational results. Manage sales cadence through robust performance measures and reviews, using data driven analytics, to drive strong sales execution, i.e. sales forecasting, account strategy, demand generation, deal strategy development and trend analysis.
