**THE ROLE**:
We are looking for a **head of people** to join us in our Cardiff office.
- The role will involve:_
- Ensuring the accurate and timely end to end processing of the monthly payroll for our UK sites
- Working closely with the senior team to manage staff initiates and good working incentives
- Team welfare policies and workshops
- Review and ensure accuracy of approved timesheets
- Maintaining accurate records for company annual leave
- Dealing with day-to-day queries on employee payroll related queries
- Work closely with the Finance team on preparation of payroll related reports and costings
- Keep up to date with HMRC guidance
- Maintaining accurate staff records & onboarding including starters & leavers information

**THE PERFECT CANDIDATE**:

- Be driven by excellence & attention to detail
- Demonstrate confidence with a 'Can do' attitude
- Have a flexible approach to work and a willingness to undertake all tasks set
- Experience in hospitality and education is advantageous but not necessary
- Experience working in a finance department
- Good Excel skills
- Experience of using Sage payroll
- Reliable with good time keeping and time management
- At least 3 years experience

**Salary**: Up to £28,756.00 per year

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

- Loyalty bonus
- Performance bonus

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Cardiff: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Bachelor's (preferred)

**Experience**:

- HR: 1 year (preferred)
