As a leading player in the technology industry with our 25 years’ experience at this exciting time, CAE are interested in looking for a Quoting Specialist who will be working with the Quotations Team Manager in driving the company’s deal registration system within a nominated vendor.

The Quoting Administrator will report directly into the Quotations Team Manager and is responsible for conducting full Cisco and varied Vendor bid programme management

**What you will be doing?**

With a record of high achievements in a business-to-business environment we are looking for an individual that has the attitude and aptitude to demonstrate excellence in:

- Create and update customer bids on various vendor portals
- Liaise with Account Manager and Internal Account Managers both within CAE and Vendor to understand the opportunity in depth
- Produce and provide valid justifications through various stages of the deal
- Maintain communication between vendors, distributors always during the bid process to ensure SLA’s and expectations are met
- Understand the different levels of accreditations CAE hold with each vendor and what discounts CAE are entitled to
- Understand margin optimisation programmes and how to implement them to deliver the maximum benefit.
- Ensure CAE take advantage of all incentive promotions running at any one time.
- Document all Vendor bid information in excel and updated at each stage of the bid process
- Keep in constant contact with relevant decision makers to uncover needs and fully qualify prospects.
- Be involved with intelligent solution-based conversation
- Ensure that documentation is completed, and procedures are followed to allow effective delivery of tenders
- Offer high level and professional service and communication to the team
- Build relationships with Account Managers within Vendors and Distribution
- Able to provide high level details quotes with various levels of complexity

**What is needed?**
- Experience in a similar role, an IT background (Vendor, distributor, or reseller) working within a partner environment
- Be a confident self-starter, able to work to own initiative and to perform under pressure
- Worked within a sales administration role supporting multiple account managers
- In a Procurement or Purchasing Administration role dealing with a high number of suppliers
- Adaptable to change and able to take ownership of challenges
- Ability to establish strong working relationships internally with colleagues/departments and external partnerships
- IT Literate with a thorough understanding of MS Office
- Knowledge of excel functions
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Knowledge of ERP Systems
