RSM’s Special Investigations team focus on contentious insolvency and fraud investigations with a demonstrated history of recovering assets from both the UK and overseas.

We are looking for an Administrator to join our team; our new colleagues will ensure that each assignment is carried out efficiently and effectively, that the principles of good professional advice as well as relevant statutory requirements are adhered to, and that creditors and other interested parties receive a quality service in all respects.

**Responsibilities**
- Carry out duties assigned by the manager or partner efficiently, thoroughly, and in accordance with the firm’s procedures and relevant statutory and extra-statutory obligations. Communicating any problems in complying with those instructions, or any contentious issues identified, to the manager or partner immediately.
- Undertake all assigned investigations to the highest standards of objectivity, integrity, and professionalism, and with appropriate awareness of the often, conflicting needs of directors, contributories, and creditors. To maintain a prompt and appropriate communication with all relevant parties.
- Help to ensure a cost-effective administration, and where relevant, realisation of assets by maintaining records promptly and efficiently. To ensure a prompt and appropriate reaction to all correspondence, telephone calls and interviews.
- Record time spent on a regular basis, and to ensure that time charged is consistent with the proper performance of the work.
- Monitor time costs and recommend appropriate billing to the manager or partner, and to ensure that the necessary approvals are obtained to achieve prompt collection of such fees.
- Clear all review points raised on the work undertaken and update working papers and conclusions where appropriate.
- Maintain an awareness of the firm’s other services, and to ensure a prompt, courteous, and effective liaison with other departments.
- Efficiently delegate individual tasks to appropriate team members.
- Updating a database for the team with business opportunities.
- Proactive diary management, using initiative to resolve conflicts and exercise judgment on priorities. Taking ownership to ensure enquiries and issues are appropriately delegated and resolved effectively.
- Carry out any other duties as are within the scope, spirit and purpose of the job, the title of the role and its grading, as requested by the Line Manager or Head of Department.
- Maintain an awareness and observation of Health & Safety issues within the Firm and report any concerns to the Health and Safety Representative.

- GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent)
- Displays commercial acumen and has an analytical mindset
- Internal and external client contact requires strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Ability to multi-task and priorities workload
- Flexibility is required and an ability to remain calm under pressure
