As part of our strategic growth plan, Colus Ltd is seeking an **Operations Coordinator** with a particular focus on Planning within our Specialist Projects division with strong people, organizational and planning skills. This is an excellent opportunity for the individual to impact and influence the delivery of services to our customers through our Salesforce and Day back Planning Systems.

You will be responsible for the advance planning and delivery of services across the department, including maximizing the overall utilization of resources.

A strong understanding of scheduling and coordination of resources will be key to succeeding in this role as well as a detail-orientated eye to ensure the end-to-end process is followed with integrity.

This role would be suitable for somebody with a strong focus on customer service, who is highly organized, IT competent,and who can plan and prioritise strategically.

This role will be office based and can be in either Leicester or Worcester and represents an outstanding opportunity for professional development in a growing, innovative, challenging, and varied work environment.

**Base**: Offices in Leicester and Worcester

**The Role**:

- Partnering closely with the Operations team, ensuring efficient service delivery planning and management
- Solution driven and focused to include problem-solving capabilities
- Drive performance improvement through optimised planning and scheduling
- Establish cross functional processes and relationships to ensure all objectives are managed and delivered
- Ability to develop relationships with stakeholders to include Operations Delivery Team & Sales & Account Management Team
- Results driven - consistent delivery of supply metrics with the ability to overcome obstacles to deliver objectives
- Customer Focussed
- Demonstrate agility by being flexible and open to change
- Thrive in a busy team environment

**Essential Requirements**:

- Team Leadership experience with strong people management skills
- Relevant experience in a similar role
- Strong Oral communication skills
- Strong administration and organisation sills
- Very good process skills together with excellent IT skills including Proficiency in Microsoft Office

**Desirable Requirements**:

- Experience within logistics and/or the construction/utilities/water industry will be highly regarded
- Previous experience in Customer Relations & delivery
- Work well under pressure
- Be a team player
