**JOB DESCRIPTION**

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Sales Coordinator to work within a small but busy team on all aspects co-ordinating conferences and events for the hotel.

The job role involves fulfilling tasks such as, but not limited to:

- Handling all conference and events business from initial enquiry to day of event, ensuring all details are accurate and recorded and as per the clients requirements and in accordance with the company standards
- Ensuring that all enquires and correspondence for conferences and events are dealt with efficiently and in a timely manner
- Liaising with clients to identify objectives, the target audience and approve function space allocation for their conference or event
- Negotiating and closing contracts with all customers
- Liaising with clients to administer and co-ordinate booking details including handling credit agreements, payments and rooming lists
- Ensuring all details of all events are communicated to relevant departments to ensure the smooth running of conferences and events
- Maintain relationships with our booking agents
- Assisting with general administration within the Sales Office
- Seeking opportunities to improve the customer experience by seeking customer feedback
- Taking responsibility of Sales show rounds
- Participating in any training courses as required
- Actively promoting our venue and facilities via open days, exhibitions and showcases etc.

Additional and adjusted responsibilities to those listed should be expected in keeping with an ever-evolving business. The role is typically 9am-5.30pm across 5 days Monday-Friday but 8:30am-4:30pm across days would be considered. We will also need some flexibility to work evenings and weekends on an ad-hoc basis.

**CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS**

**Mandatory**

1. Excellent attention to detail

2. Full UK driving licence

3. Previous experience in a similar role

4. Fluent in written and spoken English
- Have a super friendly personality with excellent communication skills
- Have IT literacy with experience of using MS Word, Outlook and Excel
- Be motivated to work on their own and be actively involved within the whole team
- Have good time management and organisational skills

**Desirable**

1.. Use of Reslynx PMS (Guestline)

2. Worked within a 4*+ Hotel environment

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: £24,960.00 per year

Expected hours: 40 per week
