£44,539 - £49,590 per annum

We are currently looking for a Local Authority Designated Officer to support the delivery of a culture of safeguarding across all agencies in Walsall.

The role requires sensitive and collaborative working with managers and staff internally and with external partners and agencies, including police, in managing complaints and allegations.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, visible practitioner able to work with providers to develop their culture of safeguarding by providing training.

Interviews will be held during week commencing 5 June 2023

We will ensure continuous development and improvement of robust recruitment processes and procedures that promote a culture of safeguarding amongst our workforce. Completion of an enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check is a requirement for working with children and young people.
